I have written many times that I believe the "religion" of man-made global warming is pure myth and the world's temperatures have, and will always cycle with or without man. However, it is so gratifying that only in the free, capitalist societies are innovations that reduce dependence on foreign oil and appease the global-warming wack jobs accomplished. While Al Gore whines and moans, entrepreneurs discover and invent.
Here is the latest example. A recycling system in New York will use algae to gobble the carbon dioxide produced in a coal-fired power plant, thereby reducing emissions, before converting the algae into biofuel. The state of New York is testing the new recycling system with power firm NRG Energy.
This is why it is so critical to keep the government minimalized so that independent, profit-driven companies can really make this a better world in which to live.
