I have in the past expressed my feeling that while he may have been a savvy investor at one time. Warren Buffett is now nothing more than a rent seeking, crony capitalist scum bag. It's one thing to inject yourself into politics, it is quite another to do so so dishonestly.....

Pelosi: Obamacare Covered by Declaration of Independence
This is so wrong on so many levels that I need to start with a Poll question...
Is Nancy Pelosi:
A) Really that stupid?
B) Really that dishonest?
C) So convinced our education has worked that she can say anything and we'll believe it?
D) All the above?
As you can read at the link, she asserts that the Declaration supports ObamaCare because it establishes Pursuit of Happiness as an unalienable right and Pelosi claims that this directly applies to artists and musicians who are unable to just sit back and "create" because they must worry about things such as healthcare.
Unfortunately, the Declaration uses the word pursuit and not the word guarantee. A guarantee of happiness is not an unalienable right. So a music or artistic hopeful may try to acheive a level of happiness by pursuing their passion, however the happiness is not guranteed. They may live with their parents, get part time jobs, borrow money from friends but in the end; if the lifestyle they experience is not giving them an acceptable degree of happiness, then they need to decide...for themselves...if they can truly be happy working their craft.
Secondly, because the pursuit is the unalienable right and not the guarantee, these people have no claim on nor right to the private property of their fellow citizens to involuntarily subsidize them as they pursue their dreams as remote as they may be.
Finally and most importantly, the Declaration was written in response to an over-reaching, corrupt and abusive government that was taking their property and using it to benefit their chosen constituents at the expense the general populace. If anything, the declaration supports the Tea Party's efforts to reverse the current direction the country is headed in and begin dismantling the leviathan that it has become.
